One HID++ write to the keyboard itself
setHostPlatform goes back along the same wire, so the modifier layout matches the machine that now has focus in 326 ms, with no keystroke and nothing to click.
Idles at about 45 ms of CPU a minute
A background agent is only acceptable if it is invisible, so the idle cost is measured and published rather than described as "lightweight".
