Boilerplate, two lengths.

Copy either verbatim or trim it — both are yours. The short one is below in all five app languages.

One sentence

PrayerTimes Pro keeps accurate prayer times a glance away in the macOS menu bar, with twenty-six calculation methods, five languages and a prayer log, computed on the Mac itself. It is free on the Mac App Store and as a direct download, and a $4.99 one-time Pro unlock adds the living sky, every adhan reciter, and streaks and qada.

One paragraph

PrayerTimes Pro puts accurate prayer times a glance away in the macOS menu bar. It supports twenty-six calculation methods and five languages, and every time is computed on the Mac itself — so it stays right wherever you are, and keeps working with no connection. Free, it is a complete prayer times app: the countdown, notifications and full-screen alerts, the adhan, the Qibla compass, the Hijri calendar and its event reminders, marking each prayer as you pray it, and the Siri shortcut. A $4.99 one-time Pro unlock adds three things — the living sky, with an animated scene behind the countdown, the sun's path and every accent colour; every adhan reciter, from a library recorded across twenty-eight countries, with a separate call for Fajr; and your record, with streaks, the Sunnah checklist and a make-up ledger. It ships on the Mac App Store and as a signed, notarized direct download with a Homebrew cask, at the same price on either.

NamingWritten "PrayerTimes Pro" — one word for the product name, capital P and T, with "Pro" as a separate word. Never "Prayer Times" or "Prayertimes".
The studioStudio boilerplate is on the studio press kit.

Four ways into the story.

THE DESK

Prayer without picking up the phone

Almost every prayer app lives on a phone. This one lives where the working day actually happens — the Mac menu bar, beside the Wi-Fi icon and the clock.

PRIVACY

A religion app with nothing to sign in to

Prayer habits are sensitive. Every time is computed on the Mac from your own coordinates, the location is rounded to about 1.1 km before any name lookup, and there is no account, no advertising and no cross-app tracking. Both builds send anonymous, aggregate-only usage counts you can switch off in a tap, and the direct build adds anonymous crash reports — never your location, your prayer log or your licence key.

INDIE

One engineer, one honest price

Built solo in Egypt and sold for $4.99 once — no subscription — in a category where a monthly bill is the norm. The same price on the Mac App Store and on the direct download, so the channel is the reader's choice rather than a price tier.

CRAFT

Right-to-left done properly on macOS

Switch to Arabic, Persian or Urdu and the whole interface mirrors — layout, numerals and prayer names. A worked example of native localization rather than a translated string table.

The person behind it.

Abdelraouf Sabri

Senior Android engineer · Egypt

Abdelraouf Sabri is a senior Android engineer with seven-plus years shipping production mobile apps, Google-certified in Android, and an independent developer working from Egypt. He builds the studio's apps and developer tools end to end — design, code and release — and takes on Kotlin Multiplatform client work alongside them.

Press FAQ.

Can I use the screenshots, icon and copy?

Yes, freely and without asking — in articles, videos and social posts, for coverage of the studio or its products. The one request is that the icon is not recoloured, stretched or restyled.

Is anything here under embargo?

No. Everything on this page is public the moment you read it, so publish whenever suits your schedule. There is no date to hold to and no coverage expected in return.

How do I get a review copy or a promo code?

Send a note through the contact form and it goes out the same day — a Mac App Store promo code, or a licence key if you are running a direct build. No deadline is attached to it and no coverage is expected.

Is the developer available for interviews?

Yes — written questions usually come back within a day, and calls can be arranged across European and Middle East time zones. The contact form reaches the person who wrote the software, not a press desk.

Something is missing or looks out of date. What then?

Ask through the contact form. If a fact on this page has moved, a screenshot is stale, or you need an asset at a size that is not published here, it can usually be supplied the same day.

Brand assets.
