So impressed with all the different menu bar look options, delightful man. Looks beautiful. Will definitely give it a try. As long as app gets long-term support not like a lot of apps that aren’t maintained long-term. Even just some bug fixes every 3-4 months would go a long way. Won’t say no to a lifetime code if available.

Before you install.

Is the .dmg safe to open?

Yes. Every direct build is signed with the studio’s Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and macOS checks it the first time you open it.

How do updates arrive?

On the direct build, the app checks for new versions on its own and installs one when you say so. The Mac App Store version updates through the App Store, after Apple’s review.

How many Macs can use Pro?

Up to three on the direct build, with one licence key. Replace a Mac and you free its place yourself, from the app. On the Mac App Store, Pro follows your Apple Account.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Prayer times are calculated on your Mac, so they keep working without a connection. Only recordings download, when you choose them: the adhan library and the azkar voices.

Why are my times a few minutes off my mosque's?

Usually because the mosque follows a different calculation method, and methods disagree on how far below the horizon the sun must be for Fajr and Isha. Choose your mosque's method from the twenty-six, then nudge any single prayer by minutes until the two agree. A mosque's printed iqamah is when the congregation stands, not when the prayer's time begins.

Does it handle summer nights in the UK and other high latitudes?

Yes. It offers high-latitude rules for the months when twilight never fully fades and Fajr and Isha cannot be found by the usual angle. You can also choose where Isha's time ends by your madhab.

How do I stop the adhan once it has started?

The full-screen alert has a Mute button, and you can reopen the alert from the menu bar if it has closed. Quiet hours keep the adhan silent through the times you choose, and while you are on a call prayer time arrives as a quiet notification instead.
