Ever noticed the app says 6:52 and the mosque says 6:57? Pick from twenty-six calculation methods, nudge any single prayer by minutes, and they finally agree.
A word before the call
A prayer never arrives unannounced: a minute before, or thirty, the Mac speaks a short line — and shows the same warning as a full-screen card if you want it that way. Pick the notice for each prayer, or let one pass in silence.
Stop losing count of make-ups
Mark each prayer as you pray it. Missed ones become a qada count you can actually work down, and your streak is right there to protect.

Your prayers stay on your Mac.
No server sees them. Your location, your settings and your prayer log stay on your Mac — and if you switch on iCloud sync, they travel through your own iCloud to your other Macs, never through ours. Nothing to sign in to here, and nothing that stops working when the Wi-Fi does.

Offline, private, one price — answered before you buy.
Does it work completely offline?
Yes. Every time is computed on your Mac from your coordinates and the method you picked, so nothing breaks when the network does. Only the Pro adhan recordings download on demand.
Where does my information live?
On your Mac. There is no server of ours holding a copy and no account to sign into. iCloud sync is the one exception and it is off until you turn it on: switch it on and your prayer log and settings travel through your own iCloud to your other Macs — Apple's account, not ours.
Which calculation method should I pick?
The one your local mosque follows. If you are not sure, Muslim World League is a safe default — and you can adjust any single prayer by minutes, or set custom Fajr and Isha angles, afterwards.
Is it a subscription?
No. Pro is a single $4.99 purchase that unlocks all three of the things it adds — the living sky, every adhan reciter, and your streaks and qada — and it does not expire. Buy it in the app on the Mac App Store and it stays with your Apple Account; buy the direct build and it stays with your licence key.
Mac App Store or direct download — which should I get?
Whichever suits you; it is the same app at the same price. The App Store handles the purchase and the updates through your Apple Account. The direct build is signed and notarized, updates itself, unlocks with a licence key you keep, and installs with Homebrew if you prefer — brew install --cask abd3lraouf-studios/tap/prayertimes.
Is it native, and which Macs does it run on?
It is a native macOS app, universal for Apple silicon and Intel, and it needs macOS 14 or later.
Is there a mobile companion app?
Not yet. PrayerTimes Pro is a Mac app — the menu bar is the whole point of it. Your prayer log does follow you between Macs now, through your own iCloud, but there is no iPhone app at the other end of it yet.
